Nonfragile H fault detection for fuzzy discrete systems under stochastic communication protocol

Abstract: SummaryIn this article, considering one type of fuzzy discrete‐time networked control systems (NCSs) under stochastic communication protocol (SCP), a fuzzy‐based nonfragile H∞ filter is developed to detect the subsistent fault signal. The Takagi‐Sugeno (T‐S) mathematical model is employed to approximate the nonlinearities in the concerned fuzzy NCSs. The SCP is adopted to decide which sensor gets the access to the communication network at certain time instant, and the scheduling model of which is constructed a… Show more

“…Based on the proposed results in this paper, possible subsequent research topics include the study of finite‐time FD problems with mixed time delay 46 and with randomly occurring cyber attacks 47 . To cope with the problem of limited network bandwidth, the communication protocol can be introduced to mitigate the data conflicts, such as stochastic communication protocol, 35 round‐robin protocol 48 and so on. Moreover, it is worth noting that wireless sensor network has been widely applied in environmental monitoring, intelligent transportation and other fields, 49 thus it is also valuable to study the finite‐time FD problem for nonlinear delayed system over wireless sensor network.…”

“…Thus, it is of practical significance to study the communication protocols, and there have been many research results on communication protocols. At present, RR protocol (Shen et al, 2020; Zhao et al, 2020), weighted try-once-discard protocol (Zhang et al, 2020b; Zou et al, 2016), and stochastic communication protocol (Ren et al, 2021) are the most studied communication protocols. Among them, the RR protocol is a static protocol, which evenly distributes the network usage rights to all network nodes through a preset token ring.…”
