Nonequilibrium Neutron Emission in Deep-Inelastic Collisions ofKr86onEr<

Abstract: Neutrons were measured in coincidence with both fragments of the deep-inelastic collisions of 85 Kr on 166 Er at 11.9 MeV/amu. The velocity and angular distributions of the neutrons cannot be explained by assuming only statistical neutron evaporation from the fully accelerated fragments.
