Noncommutative approach to disclose a Higgs group

Abstract: A noncommutative(NC) version for a global O(N ) scalar field theory is proposed and an alternative investigation about how noncommutative drives spontaneous symmetry breaking (SSB) is explored. Indeed, we show that the noncommutativity plays an important role in such mechanism, i.e., it is possible to show that there is a Higgs group with no more than two Higgs bosons.
