Nonclassicality and entanglement properties of non-Gaussian entangled states via a superposition of number-conserving operations

Abstract: We theoretically investigate the nonclassicality and entanglement properties of non-Gaussian entangled states generated by using a number-conserving generalized superposition of products (GSP), i.e., saa † + ta † a m with s 2 + t 2 = 1 on each mode of an input two-mode squeezed coherent (TMSC) state. The simulation results show that, compared to the typical two-mode squeezed vacuum state, the usage of small coherent amplitude is conductive to offering an opportunity for not only effectively enhancing the noncl… Show more

“…Here we only consider coherent state and superposition of coherent states as inputs to realize the preparation of entangled resource for realizing quantum teleportation of coherent state, and the ideal quantum teleportation scheme (Braunstein and Kimble (KB) scheme) [34]. It is interesting that, in this scheme, when the coherent state is teleported the teleportation fidelity is independent of the coherent amplitude [35]. Therefore, for the convenience of discussion, we only examine the teleportation of the vacuum state.…”

“…into single-and two-mode coherent, thermal and squeezed input states [51]. After that, the nonclassicality of the GSP-based two-mode squeezed coherent state was suggested, and it was found that the nonclassicality of such a state can increase with the increase of the number of the GSP operations [52]. To our knowledge, the investigation of the GSP from the STS has not been previously addressed.…”
