Nonarteritic Anterior Ischemic Optic Neuropathy Associated With Ipsilateral Hypoplastic Internal Carotid Artery

Abstract: Background: Vascular insufficiency of the optic nerve head is the cause of nonarteritic ischemic optic neuropathy (NAION). Carotid artery abnormalities are now considered as a predisposing factor for developing NAION.
