Non-yrast level structure of135Pr

Abstract: Levels of 135pr populated in the (p, 2n) reaction were studied using methods of in-beam y-ray and conversion electron spectroscopy. Many low-lying positive-parity states give evidence of a deformation of/~=0.15-0.20. The same conclusion is evident from band structures built on these positive-parity states and on the h~1/2 negative-parity state. The triaxial rotor-plus-particle model reproduces quite well band structures with /~=0.20 and ~=21 ~

“…Spins and parities of the band-heads and the first few low-lying levels of 135 Pr were firmly established by Ref. [46]. Moreover, connecting transitions between different bands made it possible to assign multipolarities to many transitions and unique J π values to corresponding levels.…”
