Non-verbal communication in the pediatric intensive care unit: perception of the multidisciplinary team

Abstract: Objetivo: compreender o significado da comunicação não verbal na assistência ao paciente e à família, em uma unidade de terapia intensiva pediátrica (UTIP), pela equipe multiprofissional. Metodologia: trata-se de um estudo de natureza qualitativa, baseado na fenomenologia, realizado junto à equipe multiprofissional que atua na UTIP de uma instituição filantrópica de Minas Gerais.
