Abstract:Salmonellosis is a public health problem worldwide. It is caused by enteroinvasive bacteria belonging to the genus Salmonella. Medically Salmonellae have been classified into typhoidal (S.Typhi, S.Paratyphi A, S.Paratyphi B) and nontyphoidal (eg; S.Typhimurium and S. Enteritidis).
