Non-tropical fibrocalculous pancreatic diabetes: case reports and review of recent literature

Abstract: Background Fibrocalculous pancreatic diabetes (FCPD), an uncommon form of secondary diabetes, is caused by chronic nonalcoholic calcific pancreatitis and primarily occurs in tropical countries.
