“…The peak appearing at 1450 cm –1 (Figure b) is due to the bicarbonates, which were produced when CO 2 dissolved in KOH solution was adsorbed on the catalyst and reacted with the OH groups . Meanwhile, the features detected at 1110 and 1300 cm –1 (Figure b) is attributed to antisymmetric and symmetric stretching vibrations of O–PO from dihydrogen phosphates produced by phosphates with KOH . After applying a potential of 1.464 V, the peaks at 1110 and 1300 cm –1 disappeared and new bands appeared at 1219 and 1030 cm –1 , which correspond to the stretching vibration of the ring-shaped P–O bond and P–OH bond, respectively. , It can be inferred that KOH reacted with the PO group in Ni 3 (PO 4 ) 2 to form P–OH and ring-shaped P–O species.…”
