Noise Analysis in Nanostructured Tunnel Field Devices

Abstract: Tunnel Field Effect Transistors (TFETs) have appeared as an alternative candidate of “beyond CMOS” due to their advantages like very low leakage current and steep sub-threshold slope i.e. <60 mV/dec., etc. From past decades, researchers explored TFETs in terms of high ON current and steep subthreshold slope at low supply voltage i.e. < VDD = 0.5 V. The reliability issues of the device have profound impact on the circuit level design for practical perspectives. Noise is one of the important parameters in … Show more

“…Currently, China has not yet developed national or industry standards for environmental noise in underground interchanges. Furthermore, the new "Highway Tunnel Design Code" does not have provisions for acoustic design of tunnels with structures similar to underground interchanges [25] . However, as people's environmental requirements continue to increase, the issue of noise in long tunnels and underground interchanges has gradually received attention and will have more and more noise reduction design and renovation considerations for urban roads passing through tunnels [26,27] .…”
