While inter‐specific competition is believed to influence eastern spotted skunk temporal activity (Marneweck, Forehand, et al, 2022), the presence of other carnivores does not seem to be a strong influence on spotted skunk occupancy, with the only significant effect being a positive association with striped skunks.
