No single unification theory of everything

Abstract: In light of Gödel's undecidability results (incomplete theorems) for math, quantum indeterminism indicates that physics and the Universe may be indeterministic, incomplete, and open in nature, and therefore demand no single unification theory of everything. The Universe is dynamic and so are the underlying physical models and spacetime. As the 4-d spacetime evolves dimension by dimension in the early universe, consistent yet different models emerge one by one with different sets of particles and interactions. … Show more

“…( 19) shows a very intriguing feature: in order to conserve the entropy, the central charge c = g has to increase linearly with the space dimension number n. This indicates that three generations of quantum particles in 4-d spacetime may be tied to the three space dimensions they reside in. To apply it to the dynamic evolution of the universe [31,32], we need to consider that global and gauge symmetries can reduce the eective volume or surface area. Therefore, n should be replaced with the dimension n(T ) of unbroken gauge groups and the factor m(T ) = 2 when the mirror symmetry is unbroken for the entropy of the universe,…”

“…Under the new framework, quarks of six avors could undergo phase transitions via staged quark condensation [28,30] at temperatures between 10 2 MeV and 10 2 GeV, i.e., between [31,32].…”

“…To be concise, Principle-1 provides the conceptual and math formalism, Principle-2 sets the physical constraints and symmetries, and Principle-3 determines the physical contents (particle fields and interactions). Based on these three first principles, the new mirror theoretical framework [5,6] can be described by a series of Supersymmetric Mirror Models (SMM1 for 1-d time, SMM2 for 2-d spacetime, and SMM4 for 4-d spacetime) for different spacetime phases and corresponding symmetry breaking models of SMM1b, SMM2b, and SMM4b for the dynamics between these phases. Meanwhile, gravity can be understood as an emergent classical phenomenon of smooth spacetime geometry [7].…”

“…Now we can construct the Supersymmetric Mirror Models (SMM1, SMM2, and SMM4) under the new theoretical framework for varied spacetime dimensions using these first principles. Most of the following materials in this section are taken from previous works [5,6] although with some improvements.…”

“…The idea of the existence of fundamental laws of physics is based on the principles of causality. Nevertheless, this principle collides with the problems of the physics of the micro-world (Tan, 2020). The nature of these problems is primarily related to the Geizenberg uncertainty principle, according to which it is impossible to accurately determine the states of microparticles.…”
