No Major Differences in Outcomes Between the Initial and Relapse Episodes in Patients with Thrombotic Thrombocytopenic Purpura: The Experience from the Ohio State University Registry

Abstract: Background: Thrombotic thrombocytopenic purpura (TTP) is characterized by consumptive thrombocytopenia and microangiopathic hemolytic anemia. At least a third of the patients with TTP will have one or more relapses throughout their life.
