Abstract:Ocean warming is suggested to exert profound effects on phytoplankton physiology and growth. Here, we investigated how the coccolithophore Emiliania huxleyi (BOF 92, a non-calcifying strain) responded to changes in temperature in short- and long-term thermal treatments.
