Abstract:Abstract. Potassic cordierites with the chemical composition KxMgaA14+xSi s_xO18 (x = 0.00, 0.10, 0.20, and 0.25) were synthesized by annealing glasses at 1290 ~ C for different lengths of time. The procedure resulted in cordierites with different states of A1, Si-order for the tetrahedral sites in the structure. The dependence between the potassium-content and the state of order on one side and between annealing time and the state of order on the other side was then studied using 29Si MAS nuclear magnetic res… Show more
“…For all the microspheres, the higher Q 4 values obtained aer pyrolysis inferred an increase of the interlinked SiO 4 tetrahedrons in the interior of the microspheres. [41][42][43][44] Surface area and pore size distribution analysis…”
Section: Morphological and Compositional Analysismentioning
Mesoporous hybrid microspheres were fabricated from aqueous droplets of homogeneously distributed silica nanoparticles and reactive polymer in W/O suspension. Further calcination provides mesoporous silica microspheres.

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
