NKX6-1 mediates cancer stem-like properties and regulates sonic hedgehog signaling in leiomyosarcoma

Abstract: Background Leiomyosarcoma (LMS), the most common soft tissue sarcoma, exhibits heterogeneous and complex genetic karyotypes with severe chromosomal instability and rearrangement and poor prognosis.
