“…Advantages of N 2 O include ease of administration; rapid onset and elimination; no biotransformation; easily titrated to desired effect; lack of flammability; absence of pungent odor; minimal cardiovascular or respiratory depressant effects; minimal systemic toxicity; lack of effect on hemoglobin oxygen desaturation, Apgar scores, and neonatal survival; and it does not trigger malignant hyperthermia [6][7][8][9][10][11][12].
