Abstract:Hydrogen (H 2 ) produced by electrochemical (EC) and photoelectrochemical (PEC) overall water splitting is regarded as promising clean energy technologies, while exploring low-cost and high-efficient catalysts remains a challenging task. Herein, we demonstrate the catalytic activities of nitrogen-doped triphenylenegraphdiyne (N@TP-GDY) monolayers using first principles calculations in combination with nonadiabatic molecular dynamics. Our results show that the introduction of sp/sp 2 -hybridized N atoms can gre… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
