“…Nimorazole (Naxogin) became available in 1969 and the course of treatment recommended was one 250 mg. tablet every 12 hrs for 6 days. Most of the early reports in which this course was used suggested that the results were comparable with those of the standard course of metronidazole and the greater convenience to the patient of its twice-daily administration seemed an obvious advantage (Moffett, McGill, Schofield, and Masterton, 1971).
