Nitrile Hydrolysis Promoted by Rhenium(III) Metal-Metal Bonded Systems

Abstract: The ability to hydrolyze nitriles to form coordinated amidate ligands has recently been demonstrated using Related. The significance of nitrile hydrolysis reactions, proposed reaction mechanism, and potential applications of this type of reaction are reviewed.
