Abstract:International audienceBenign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) remains an incompletely understood disease, mostly striking old men. As an alternative to catheterization, an innovative NiTi shape memory alloy (SMA) based stent, made of a helical wire inserted into a helical tube was developed.
