Abstract:A new mineral nishanbaevite, ideally KAl 2 O(AsO 4 )(SO 4 ), was found in sublimates of the Arsenatnaya fumarole at the Second scoria cone of the Northern Breakthrough of the Great Tolbachik Fissure Eruption, Tolbachik volcano, Kamchatka, Russia. It is associated with euchlorine, alumoklyuchevskite, langbeinite, urusovite, lammerite, lammerite-β, ericlaxmanite, kozyrevskite, and hematite.
