Nimg-02. 18f-Fluciclovine Positron Emission Tomography to Distinguish Tumor Progression From Radiation Necrosis Following Stereotactic Radiosurgery for Brain Metastasis: A Qualitative Analysis
Abstract:PURPOSE/OBJECTIVE(S)
To assess the ability of 18F-Fluciclovine PET/CT to distinguish radiation necrosis (RN) from tumor progression (TP) among patients with brain metastases (BM) treated with stereotactic radiosurgery (SRS) in a prospective pilot study.
MATERIALS/METHODS
Adults with post-SRS BM presenting with follow-up brain MRI equivocal for RN versus TP underwent 18F-Fluciclovine PET/CT within 30 days of equivocal MRI. PET… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
