(Pineda et al, 2010;Piña-Aguilar et al, 2014;Jahnova et al, 2014;Lorenzoni et al, 2014;Abela et al, 2014;Fecarotta et al, 2015) A apresentação clínica clássica de NPC em geral é produto de uma gravidez normal, e cerca de metade destas crianças têm icterícia neonatal transitória, o que ocorreu com nossa amostra, onde 41,7% (5 pacientes (Pentchev et al 1985;Vanier et al 1991;Wraith et al 2009;Vanier, 2010 Observamos também, o uso de 2-hidroxipropil-beta-ciclodextrina (2HPBC), com aplicações intravenosas semanais, de forma irregular e sem relato da dose, em quatro pacientes, desde o ano de 2014. Estudos em cobaias tem apresentado efeitos benéficos com o uso da 2HPBC, e por não serem tóxicas, seu uso em seres humanos tem sido publicado como relatos de caso, com resultados de melhora da hepatopatia e retardando a neurodegeneração.…”
