Abstract: A sustainable method for the construction of valuable β-keto sulfones lies in the reaction between vinyl azides and the alkyl sulfonyl radical generated from the low-cost and comparatively steady bulk chemical dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO) that has been developed.
