Abstract:A nickel-catalyzed
three-component carboamination of the biphenylene
C–C σ-bond has been developed. Arylboronates and hydroxylamine
derivatives work as carbon nucleophiles and nitrogen electrophiles,
respectively, and the corresponding difunctionalized ring-opening
products are obtained in good yields. The arylboronate nucleophile
can be replaced with B2pin2 (boron nucleophile)
and H–Si(OMe)3 (hydride nucleophile), thus allowing
for the aminoboration and hydroamination of the biphenylene C–C
σ-bond under simil… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
