Abstract:In Germany, every second left heart catheterization has no immediate interventional or surgical consequence. One main reason for this limited quality of indication of many left heart catheterizations is presumably the inaccuracy of preinvasive testing that is mainly based on clinical evaluation and exercise ECG in Germany.
