Abstract:Tetrahedral oxygenated groups with large highest occupied molecular orbital‐lowest unoccupied molecular orbital (H gaps such as [SO4] are beneficial for deep ultraviolet (DUV) transmission but usually make against generating sufficient birefringence due to the small polarizability anisotropy.
