Abstract: In this study, graphene oxide was prepared by the modified Hummers method, and then iron oxide nanoparticles were deposited on the surface of graphene oxide by hydrothermal method. After synthesis, these materials were characterized via a number of physical methods: X-ray diffraction, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), vibrating sample magnetometer (VSM) and scanning electron microscopy (SEM/EDX).
