“…Developed, industrialized countries are experiencing an increasing interest in urban horticulture, resulting in increases in the number of locations for food-growing purposes, their diversity and the number of participants enrolling in waiting lists to join a garden-as in Paris, Montreal and New York [10]. Although urban gardening practices and possibilities for food growing in urban conditions in countries of Southeast Europe have been studied in recent years [17][18][19][20][21][22][23][24][25][26][27], research on urban horticultural practices and spaces suitable for this form of food production in the Republic of Serbia is still limited.
