New Zinc (II) Phthalocyanines Substituents: Synthesis, Aggregation Behavior, Antioxidant, and Antibacterial Activity

Abstract: Abstract:The novel phthalonitrile derivatives bearing methyl 2-mercaptoacetate and methyl 3-mercaptopropanoate phthalonitrile substituents at peripheral position were preparedby a nucleophilic displacement reaction. Cyclotetramerization of these phthalonitrile derivatives in the presence of corresponding metal salts gave the new metallophthalocyanines.
