New trends in perioperative anaphylaxis

Abstract: Anaphylaxis, a potentially fatal hypersensitivity response that affects the whole body, has a long and complicated history. Complications with the airway (pharyngeal or laryngeal edoema), breathing (bronchoconstriction with tachypnea), and circulation (low blood pressure and/or tachycardia) may develop rapidly, posing a serious danger to the patient's life.
