“…The Precambrian metamorphic basement in KB is mainly exposed in Jining, Liangcheng, and Zhuozi in the east; Daqingshan and Wulashan in the middle; and Qianlishan and Helanshan in the west. In recent years, drilling data have revealed that there are khondalite series in the Ordos basement, and their rock assemblages and metamorphic ages are similar to those of the KB (Hu et al, 2013;Wan et al, 2013a;Gou et al, 2016;He et al, 2016;Zhang et al, 2021), and so the KB may be more widely distributed. The KB is mainly composed of khondalite series and garnet granites, meta-gabbronorites, and charnockites.…”
