New Technique for Aerosol Detection in Haze Day Using Side‐Scattering Lidar and Its Inversion Method

Abstract: The new side-scattering lidar using two charge-coupled device cameras and one CW laser is developed to measure the near-ground aerosol profiles in haze day, which is a powerful tool and is most interested for the environmental and meteorological agencies. A new inversion method for the sidescattering lidar to retrieve the aerosol backscattering coefficient is proposed for the first time, which is based on the aerosol backscattering coefficient measured by itself at the ground as a constrained condition. “…As core parts of the photoelectric detection systems, CCDs are widely applied in detection, identification, recognition [1][2][3][4], because of their low noise, high resolution, and low power consumption. However, CCDs are extremely vulnerable to be damaged due to their high detection sensitivity, which makes them be the primary targets for radiation source.…”

“…25,26 The self-assembly synthesis of large-sized perovskite nanocrystals with a tunable wavelength and alleviated defects has proven to be a straightforward and empirically reliable strategy. 27,28 Charged-coupled devices (CCDs) have been widely used in laser imaging radar, 29,30 low light level detection, 31 missile guidance, 32 space remote sensing, 33 recognition, 34 and inspec-tion for civilian or military purposes. 35 Countries worldwide have recognized the tremendous power and effect of photoelectric guidance devices based on CCDs and their significant role in photoelectric equipment for developing weapons.…”
