“…XRD patterns of uncalcined Ni/Al HTLcs with various Ni/Al molar ratios are displayed in Figure 3. It is observed that uncalcined Ni/Al HTLcs represent X-ray diffractogram characteristics of HTLcs, with sharp and symmetric peaks of (003), (006), (110) and (113) planes, and broad and asymmetric peaks of (012), (015) and (018) planes (Sparks et al, 2008). Figure 4 showed XRD patterns of Ni/Al LDOs obtained from Ni/Al HTLcs with various Ni/Al molar ratios calcined at 300°C.…”

“…As shown in Figure 2, the peaks of the original LDH (Figure 2a) Figure 2a shows characteristics of LDHs, featuring sharp and symmetric reflections for the (003), (006), (110), and (113) planes, and asymmetric peaks for the (012), (015), and (018) planes. [20] The XRD patterns of the original LDH can be assigned to the Mg-Al LDH (Mg 4 Al 2 (OH) 12 CO 3 • 3H 2 O, JCPDS 51-1525). The basal spacing (d 003 ) of the original Mg-Al LDH is 770 pm which is close to values reported by Pode et al [21] After H 2 S sorption, XRD patterns of the H 2 S-loaded LDH at 20 8C (Figure 2b) showed no significant change, implying that H 2 S sorption on the Mg-Al LDH may be a physical sorption.…”

“…The effects of metal species and content, and the basic density were also discussed. Published results indicated the important effects of dynamic conditions of the experiment and H 2 O content [3,[11][12][13][14][15]17]. So, far little attention was paid to the importance of carbon surface chemical feature for COS hydrolysis and basic strength.…”
