New Route of Synthesis of Some of the Related Substances of Ibuprofen and Sunitinib

Abstract

There are quite a substantial number of impurities reported related to Ibuprofen and Sunitinib. Many published methods are also available for the separation of Ibuprofen and its impurities. However, the isolation of these related compounds in handful quantity by separation technique is a tedious, time consuming and cost intensive process. Similarly, to our knowledge, there is no synthetic method available for the amide impurity of Sunitinib. In order to prove the absence or presence of these impurities within the permissible limit, according to different pharmacopoeias, it is pertinent to synthesize each of them.
