Abstract:We study the semileptonic and non-leptonic charmed baryon decays with SU(3) flavor symmetry, where the charmed baryons can be B c = (n denoted as the baryon octet (decuplet), we find that the B c → B ′ n ℓ + ν ℓ decays are forbidden, while theand Ω ++ ccc → Ω + cc ℓ + ν ℓ decays are the only existing Cabibboallowed modes for B ′ c → B ′ n ℓ + ν ℓ , B cc → B ′ c ℓ + ν ℓ , and B ccc → B (′) cc ℓ + ν ℓ , respectively. We predict the rarely studied.3, 4.8±0.5)×10 −3 . For the observation, the doubly and triply charmed baryon decays ofare the favored Cabibboallowed decays, which are accessible to the BESIII and LHCb experiments.

“…The lifetime was stated to be shorter than 33 fs at the 90% confidence level, and SELEX concluded that 20% of all Λ þ c baryons observed by the experiment originated from Ξ þ cc decays, implying a relative Ξ cc production rate several orders of magnitude larger than theoretical expectations [11]. Searches from the FOCUS [46], BABAR [47], and Belle [48] experiments did not find evidence for a state with the properties reported by SELEX, and neither did a search at LHCb with data collected in 2011 corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 0.65 fb −1 [49]. However, because the production environments at these experiments differ from that of SELEX, which studied collisions of a hyperon beam on fixed nuclear targets, these null results do not exclude the original observations.…”

The doubly charmed hadron production at B factories is of special importance for the study of the hadron structure and the color connections before hadronization. To suppress the combination background fluctuations of the reconstructed hadron mass spectra, we suggest a three-jet event shape trigger. After these three jets are identified by their energy and angular distributions, it is found that (1) the background process e þ e − → cc → h 0 s in consideration of the final hadron system Λ þ c K − π þ þ X is significantly suppressed, and (2) for the selected events, about half of the particles, Λ þ c , K − , π þ , which obviously cannot belong to the decay products of the doubly charmed hadron, can be vetoed. The relevant hadronization is investigated.
