New results on

Abstract: The very neutron-deficient isotope 102 Cd was produced in the reaction 50 Cr( 56 Fe, 2p2n) 102 Cd at 195 MeV and was identified using the Daresbury recoil separator. A pure γ -ray spectrum belonging to the de-excitation of the excited states of 102 Cd was obtained in-beam. Twenty γ -ray lines were identified, ten of them for the first time.
