New results for path-based shared protection and link-based Hamiltonian cycle protection in survivable WDM networks

Abstract: In this paper, we study the path-based shared protection (PBSP) and the link-based Hamiltonian cycle protection (LBHCP) schemes for tolerating single-link failures in survivable wavelength-division-multiplexing networks.
