“…The major topologies of multilevel inverters are Diode clamped (NPC) multilevel inverter [3], Capacitor clamped (FC) multilevel inverter [4] and Cascaded H bridge (CHB) multilevel inverter [5]. The common problem among above topologies is number of switches required [6,7] increases significantly with increase in output voltage level [8], which tends to increase in cost, size and complexity of switching and implementation of hardware circuit [9][10][11]. The NPC multilevel inverter and the FC multilevel inverter, the capacitor voltage can be regulated using redundant switching states but as the level of voltage increase the number of capacitors and clamping diodes required and complexity in control scheme increases.…”

“…Hosseinzadeh, et al [1] discusses the multilevel inverter with reduced no of switches and it explains the operations and compares its performance with conventional strategies. Nirmal mukundhan, et al [2] discusses the operation and modelling of standalone PV power generators with isolated zeta converter for DC to DC conversion.…”

“…An alternative is a power plant design combining arrays of singlephase alternating current photo voltaic modules [6,7], allowing for high output voltage quality [8,9]. This principle underlies many forwardlooking topolo gies [10,11], including those with an asymmetric structure [12], one of which is the use of a highvoltage multilayer cas cade converter without a network transformer (Fig. 1, c) [13,14].…”
