“…The joined spinoprezygapophyseal and spinodiapophyseal laminae enclose a triangular fossa, here interpreted as autapomorphic for T. hannibalis. The spinoprezygapophyseal lamina fails to contact the spinopostzygapophyseal lamina, differing from the Limaysaurinae 19 . The postspinal lamina does not expand mediolaterally as in other Nigersaurinae 19 .…”

“…Large elliptical pleurocoels open on the lateral surface of the anteriormost caudal centra. The boss-like eminence anteroventral to the prezygapophyses as in European Nigersaurinae is absent 19,20 . In anterior view, the neural spines are 'petal-shaped', as in most diplodocoids 21 .…”

“…To associate the trackway PT1 with a specific group of sauropods is not really prudent. Nonetheless, discarding titanosaurs, the other main group of sauropods that inhabited Europe during the late Early Cretaceous were the rebbachisaurids (Mannion et al, 2011;Torcida Fernández-Baldor et al, 2011). The morphology of rebbachisaurid tracks so far is not well understood.…”

“…Mannion (2009) described a partial rebbachisaurid scapula MIWG 6544. Finally, Mannion et al (2011) described a proximal caudal neural arch MIWG 5384, which they also interpreted as rebbachisaurid. All of these specimens are from the Barremian Wessex Formation of the Isle of Wight, so they could all belong to the same species or genus.…”
