Abstract:Leukemic hairy cells are clonally proliferating B-lymphoid cells with clonal rearrangements of genes for immunoglobulin chains. We describe a patient with a new hairy-cell clone after treatment with 2-chlorodeoxyadenosine (2-CdA).
