New Plasticisers for Polyvinyl Chloride

Abstract: An examination is made of a method for producing symmetric 1,4-butanediol esters in the presence of catalyst titanium nanodioxide of grade R-25 with a surface area of 140.9 m 2 /g and a particle size of 25 nm by the esterification of 1,4-butanediol with aliphatic fatty acids. The esters obtained have been tested as a plasticiser for polyvinyl chloride (PVC).
