New Modular Integral Pilot Reactors for Information Retrieval on Fixed‐Bed Catalytic Gas‐Phase Reactions

Abstract

The integral reactor is most critical for experimental reaction engineering. However, its design does not come up to current requirements. Based on a tested modular construction principle, new modules for multifunctional integral pilot reactors with a wide range of applications were developed. These modules allow to configure both single and combination reactors for implementing varied methodical objectives. Two examples illustrate the advantages for the user.
