Abstract:Prostate tuberculosis (PT) is not uncommon, but rarely diagnosed. Treatment of PT is a difficult task, since it is difficult to achieve an adequate concentration of antibacterial drugs in the parenchyma of even a healthy organ, and in the case of the formation of prostate caverns, their fibrous walls almost completely prevent the penetration of anti-tuberculosis drugs into the destruction focus.
