New Melastomataceae hosts of Chrysoporthe species in Brazil

Abstract: The angiosperm Melastomataceae family is one of the most abundant plant families worldwide and in the Brazilian cerrado, with significant environmental importance in regenerating degraded areas, especially those previously occupied by pastures.
