“…This quite unique functionalization approach of MWCNTs/SWCNTs has been successfully exploited for carbon nanotube end-selective DNA covalent attachment and hybridization (Scheme 1). For that purpose, a blue colored horse radish peroxidase (HRP)-mediated enzymatic reporting system based on double-stranded DNA hybridization 18,19 has been used for optimization.
