Abstract:This study reports the first high‐resolution, integrated facies analysis of the lowermost Albian Pietraroja Lagerstätten (Apennine Carbonate Platform) which yields the first dinosaur (Scipionyx samniticus) found in Italy and other terrestrial vertebrates and plants.
