Abstract: Recently, vanadium oxides and other semiconductor materials have been intensively studied to use them as nonplasmonic substrates for surfaceenhanced Raman scattering (SERS) spectroscopy due to their advantages such as greater uniformity, stability, and spectral reproducibility compared to plasmonic ones.
